    Tour description

    Want to explore the fjords in the North? Sail into Eyjafjord and view it's wonders and wildlife before being picked up by a bus for a fun and informative afternoon travelling along the coastline, visiting small fishing villages, black beaches and more!

    Start your day off by coming down to Akureyri port behind the Hof Culture Centre and pick up your tickets in the Elding ticket office. One of our friendly guides will meet you at the pier and show you to the boat. The 3 hour whale watching tour takes you into Eyjafjord where chances of Humpback whale spotting is (almost) guaranteed with 100% sighting success summer 2016 so far! Once you have enjoyed the lovely views and scenery of the fjord we start  heading back to the port where you will have some free time before getting picked up for the next leg of the combo tour.

    A bus will collect you from outside our ticket office in the harbour. On the tour you will travel with a live guide driving by the Eyjafjord coastline, focusing on coastal culture and the beautiful seaside surroundings. With a stop at a black sand beach where you will have plenty of time to walk around before visiting the Herring Museum and small fishing villages such as Siglufjörður. - Note that due to weather and/or road conditions the tours itinerary may alter or prolong.
