Tour at 17:00

The sea was still very rough. Visibility was ok. There was the last tour for the Puffin island, there were just few of them left, but still many on the sea. A Minke whale surprised us just next to our boat, very close, but very short visible. Later there were just few Minke whales fast surfacing and since there were big waves it was hard to spot them. But we met a group of White beaked dolphins. That was very nice.

The wind picked up bit during the 1300 tour. The sea got a bit choppy but the whales were still numerous out there. We saw a lot of minke whales ina a very suggested spot with at least 200 gannets were flying, searching and feeding, dropping down into the water. White-beaked dolphins were there as well, quite a big group of them, surfacing together, seepding up underwater, pretty spectacular!

Tour at 9:00

The sea was not as calm and flat as usual but we could enjoy whales and birds out in Faxafloi. In fact, we had a nice sighing with a lot of minke whales, which were feeding and gathering were a large flock of sea birds was. We also had a short sighting with a group of white-beaked dolphins which travelled fast in front of our boat.
