Still the wind was rough and cold. We searched in Faxafloi for whales and had a short but very close and clear sighting of harbour porpoises. Nice watch! Due to the wind speed we headed back to the Old Harbour soon afterwords.
Trip at 9:00
Rough northeasterlies today! We spotted the impressive blow of a minke whale twice. But than it disappeared without any trace left. First time we went to Akureyri-Puffin Island this year....and we were successful: a flock of 20 puffins was close to the island. So they might start breeding soon!
