Because of the weather, today we sailed from Keflavík harbour, as the wind direction was more favorable there.

Tour at 14:00

Some brave passengers joined us for the afternoon trip, although the wind had picked up a lot and was now really really strong! The waves were much bigger than during the morning trip, and we found it a bit more difficult to find the whales. In all we spotted 2-3 Minke whales and some Harbour porpoises, but the passengers had to be very quick to spot them!  Hopefully the weather will calm down soon!

It was very windy out on the sea today, but we soon spotted a group of Harbour porpoises, although they were quite difficult to spot and disappeared quite quickly. We saw a huge group of feeding birds out in the distance and as we sailed towards them we began to spot quite a few Minke whales. In all we spotted about 7-8 Minke whales, so in spite of the increasing winds, it was a very successful trip!
