Tour 17:00
A very successful tour: the weather inproved a lot. The sea was extremly flat, the wind alsmost absent. The light conditions were great and we could see very far. Birds were flying everywhere and the minke whales were surfacing in group of four even sometimes! White-beaked dolphins were jumping and breaching in a distance and the humpback we spotted jumped 3 times in front of us and it came with the mouth open to feed several times!
Tour at 13:00
It’s raining but the ocean is still very calm and we see a lot of Minke whales in the feeding area with many flocks of birds. We listen to the sounds of the birds and to the breath of the Minke whale, the sound is perfect today, ist very silent out on the ocean. We also feel the very strong smell of the Minke whale. Later there is a group of White beaked dolphins, jumping again and playing. Beautifull this wild nature here!
Tour at 9:00
The ocean is very calm, visibility is good. We spotted very soon a Minke whale and also a calf. It approached us very close. Minke whale was later all around, feeding with birds. A group of White beaked dolphins played far in the distance, we came closer and they showed us few nice jumps. White beaked dolphins are allways nice to observe. It was a group of 10, maybe more of them. The last sighting was the Humpback whale. Close to boat, blow visible, and once it swam under our boat. Great tour, wonderfull sighting!
