Tour at 13:00 (14:00 from Keflavik)
At the beginning of our tour we saw few Harbour porpoises. They are allways very fast and also this group disappeared. We were lucky and we saw a group of White beaked dolphins. They were breaching and approaching our boat. Swimming also under the boat. Nice sighting. Later we spotted the blow of the Humpback whale, we also saw it surfacing but then it dived and did not show up again. And finally there was a Minke whale, but also wery short. it surfaced just once! The rest of the tour the whales didn’t show up any more. We returned to Reykjavik harbour.
Tour at 9:00 (10:00 from Keflavik)
Today we sailed out from Keflavik harbour, because in Reykjavik it was rought. The sea is little bit rought and its cloudy. A Minke whale approached us but disappeared again in the waves. But we can follow one for a while. Then we also spotted a Humpback whale. First the blow was visible and then the whale. It’s not so close to us, but we can still observe it. Feeding Gannets were nice to see as well. While we returned back to the Keflavik harbour it started to be warmer and also the sun was shining.
