Tour at 13:00

It had started to rain but the sea still was very calm - this tour staretd also with spotting some Harbour porpoises but they were more in a distance. Two groups of White-beaked Dolphins were spotted a little bit later, one with a calf and rather shy, keeping their distance, the second group joined us bow-riding for quite a while. We then sailed in the bay for a really long time, without spoting anything else - and then, at the end of the tour and very close  to the harbour, we found a Minke Whale feeding within a flock of Lesser Black-backed Gulls. It was a relly huge individual, surfacing again and again very close to the boat and it was great to observe the interaction with the birds who also tried to get their fish. THis tour was a perfect demonstration for what is necessary while whale-watching: don´t mind rain but stay outside watching the ocean, keep your patience until the last minute of the tour and continous attention to everything that is visible on the water.

Tour at 09:00

A very succesful tour with a group of Harbour porpoises right in the beginning. Thereafter we encountered two groups of White-beaked Dolphins and last not least one Minke Whale that was surfacing several times close to the boat.
