Christmas Schedule 2025
We're happy to confirm that our tours will be running daily throughout the Christmas period in 2025, allowing both visitors and locals to enjoy the winter season at sea.
Our Classic Whale Watching tours operate as usual over the holidays, along with Imagine Peace Tower tours and Viðey Island ferry services, subject to the regular weekend schedule. The only changes apply on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve where the Northern Lights Cruise will not operate. Instead, on New Year’s Eve, we'll be offering our popular New Year's Eve Cruise, a festive way to welcome the year ahead from the water.
On all other days, we operate according to our regular winter schedule and tours can be booked right up until departure at our ticket office at Reykjavík's Old Harbour, making it easy to plan last-minute adventures during the holidays.

This is the original whale watching tour from Reykjavík! Join our highly enthusiastic and experienced team in the search for whales, dolphins and birds of Faxaflói bay! Most common wildlife encountered are humpbacks, minkes, dolphins and porpoises.

Only a few minutes away from the busy city life is Viðey island, a special place that combines history, art and nature in a unique way. Daily ferry departures from 15 May - 31 August and on weekends from 1 September - 14 May.
Available on New Year's Eve each year, our 'celebration at sea' is set by the shores of Reykjavík where we have ample views of the capital's magnificent fireworks from sea. Enjoy the firework show with a warm drink in hand as we cheers to the new year!
