Tonight we are expecting an aurora activity of 3/9, N-W 4 m/s and -1°C. Moon is currently Waning Gibbous and 88% illuminated. Clear skies are forecasted in the area.
The sky was clear, and we could even spot Mars and Jupiter shining bright. While we didn't see any auroras tonight, we did find a couple of humpback whales! In the end we of course issued complimentary tickets for a future tour.

The clouds separated, but the northern lights never appeared, so we issued complimentary tickets. We did however see a tangled humpback whale, leading us to alert the authorities as we headed back home with mixed feelings..

There was some cloud coverage but there were gaps in the sky. Sadly we didn't end up see any auroras, but enjoyed the city lights and music! In the end we issued complimentary tickets so everyone could try again another night!

Only 30 minutes into the tour, we saw the beginnings of northern lights! At first they were very faint, but soon turned stronger! Our captain even spotted a humpback whale close by us too as we were headed back home!
The forecast looked promising for tonight, but unfortunately the auroras didn’t make an appearance. It was a bit of a letdown, but we made sure to offer everyone on board complimentary tickets to come back another night!
With good weather and little to no clouds, we were hopeful for tonight. We ended up waiting a long time, but in the last hour, a stable clear green arch of northern lights appeared overr the mountains of Esja and Akrafjall!

An hour into the tour, a big gap opened up and we could see Jupiter - and then we heard a loud noise - it turned out to be 2 humpback whales feeding! Despite this happy surprise, we saw no auroras so we issued complimentary tickets!
