During the summer months, between 15th May - 31st August, the Viðey ferry departs daily from Skarfabakki pier and additionally from the Old Harbour between 1st June - 31st August. In winter, from 1st September - 14th May, the ferry only operates from Skarfabakki pier on Saturdays and Sundays.
Viðeyjarstofa Café is open during regular ferry operating hours, where guests are welcome to enjoy lunch and light refreshments. The island is known for its tranquility and is perfect for family picnics, hiking and exploring.
