Megan is our most experienced naturalist. She started as a researcher in 2008, naturalist in 2010, became head naturalist and research coordinator in 2012 and got her Icelandic RIB captains license in 2020. Megan has a MSc in Marine Biology, and worked with a variety of wildlife organisations throughout the world for the last 20 years. The minke whale is her favourite whale. She is also a huge bird enthusiast and a talented photographer.
Working for a company like Elding comprises many of my passions: working on the ocean, with wildlife, people and photography. Elding also really cares about the environment and tries to minimise wildlife disturbance as much as possible. It's incredible to be apart of an amazing team with a variety of backgrounds.
Megan speaks English and conversational Icelandic.
