Tour status: RUNNING - We are expecting aurora activity around 4/9, cloudy conditions at first and then meant to clear up later on.
Sightings: The sky was very cloudy, but we were expecting that for the beginning of the tour. We were very pleased but surprised by how many passengers joined us this evening. We took three boats heading out this evening for the northern lights tour, which has never happened in the history of elding, so it did take fast decisions and quick preperation. But we had an awesome crew and even better passengers that were patient and understanding. We waited a long time in a very sheltered part of the bay with a complimentary hot chocolate and rum in hand in the cold and waited for the heavens to clear and the northern lights to show. We waited and waited until we couldn't wait any longer. We headed home and offered our passengers complimentary tickets in the hope they will join us once again in the next 2 years. If only the weather kept an eye on the forecast. NEXT TIME!
