Report from Eldey and Hafsúlan: With almost 300 passengers joining us on tonights Christmas Northern Lights Tour we have to take two of our larger vessels Eldey and Hafsúlan. From the very beginning northern lights could be seen however, they were hard to make out with the naked eyes and only the camera could confirm it. The clouds were making it difficult tonight and you could only make out a green hue in the small gaps of the cloud. We were of course hoping for more and as the cold night air drew everyone inside. It was a beautiful evening with calm winds and a smooth sea, we turned off the engines and enjoyed the slight movements of the boat. It did get brighter but the best activity was between 11pm and 11:15pm. The wooo´s and awwww´s of the passengers highlighted the colour and movements of the lights. It started off slow but became a very nice evening.
