Report from Eldey: The weather finally gave us a break and allowed us to navigate our bay, after a couple of weeks haunted by persistent wind storms. The swell was even softer than expected according to the forecast, we could barely feel it, so overall the journey was quite comfortable. Our guests also got the chance to witness the so typical volatile Icelandic weather. It started snowing at some point, but the crew remained relaxed as we knew the scenario was likely to change in the next 5 minutes. And so it did. But unfortunately, the northern lights did not dazzled us with their beauty tonight. It was possible to detect them, through our cameras, but their remained to week to be seen with the naked eye. Therefore, we offered all our passengers the chance to comeback again with us on another northern light cruise, for free.
