TOUR ON SCHEDULE  | at 21:00

Report from Eldey: It was a pleasent night to be sailing over Faxafloi bay. The weather predictions were quite promising, but the forecast deceived us a little bit, as the skies were supposed to be more clear then they actually appear. Nature can always be unpredictable, is part of its appeal. Most of our passengers were waiting patiently in our outside deck, comfortably wrapped up in our overalls. Though at some point the expectations raised again after the guide saw a glimpse of green through her camera, after all it was not tonight that our passengers got the chance to see this amazing natural phenomena. Nevertheless, our company does want all its guests to have the opportunity to see the northern lights, reason we delivered complementary tickets to everyone, so that they can all come back again on another northern light cruise with us.

We are sailing from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík today. There could always be some movement out on the bay, so if your are prone to sea sickness we have sea sickness tablets available at our ticket office. Make sure to dress warmly and make use of our warm overalls as it is always colder on sea than on land. For more information contact us by email elding@elding.is or by phone +354 519 5000.
