Report from Eldey: The night surprised use this evening as we didn't have the most promising forecast and we were hoping for some luck. We sailed out with starry skies (even though it was forcasted cloudy) and very early on we saw the slight pale hue of northern lights to the north. It got a little stronger and then faded out again before the clouds came over and covered the stars. We stayed out a little longer to see it changed and it did. The forecast was soooooo much better than predicted and once again the skies cleared and the stars shone like diamonds. The northern lights could have been better to the naked eye and so for those that could come again got a complimentary ticket, a free return trip to try their luck once more. Even though the aurora were weak tonight it still did not deminish the beauty of the nights stary skies.
