Report from Eldey: After a day of rain and strong wind, we were expecting a nice opening in the cloud cover to watch the sky. Sadly when we departed there was still a thick veil of darkness above us, veil that never left us. We still had calm sea conditions and temperatures were on the rise, so we could stay outside, practicing with our camera and admiring the city lights. But in the end we had no chance to sight the northern lights, so we issued complimentary tickets to our passengers. Relaxed cruising but no luck tonight!
