Report from Eldey: An incredibly clear sky above the city this evening meant that we left the harbour full of optimism. As soon as we sailed away from the light pollution of Reykjavik, a very feint band of northern light was seen across the sky over Esja. This band remained there for the duration of the tour but did not change in appearance until the final 45 minutes of the trip. All of a sudden a second light appearred and the light show began. Dancing auroras that flickered green were enjoyed by all on board.
