Report from Eldey: Our northern lights cruise took us today towards Videy island, where we had extremely calm water and nice conditions to spot northern lights. We waited more than two hours and once we decided to start heading back towards Reykjavik, we started to see some activity. Momentaneously, we saw the auroras dancing in the sky as well as a huge greenish glow in the horizon. Unfortunately, they didn't last long so we decided to offer complimentary tickets, hoping next time auroras are going to be stronger.
