Report from Skrúður: It was a lovely evening on heading out into the bay with calm seas and warmer than usual temperatures. The forecast for tonights tour was very promising with a very high aurora level and only partial clouds. However, like all things in Iceland especially the weather, it changes, and unfortunately the clouds remained firmly in place. Which meant that we were not able to see the wondrous aurora borealis or the exceptional nights sky. We did however, enjoy the city lights by boat which is always a beautiful sight to behold and the calming sail around the islands. As no lights showed on this tour passengers were given complimentary tickets to allow them to come try their luck again on another one of our northern lights tours.
