Report from Eldey: For once, the forecast was our enemy during tonight's tour. Or more accurately, the people working on it! The prediction was clear skyes, and a Kp index of 2. Well the Kp was varying incessantly between 1, 2 and 3. But the clouds... the clouds were there from the very beginning, and they were planning on staying during all night. So yeah, our expectations were getting lower and lower. But of course this crazy lights were planning on fooling us, and as soon as a tiny little bit of clear skyes appeared over the mountain range of Esja... the lights appeared! They stood there for less than 5 minutes but they were really good and bright! A huge unexpected surprise that proves us what we already knew: you never can tell with the Aurora Borealis in Iceland!
