Report from Eldey: Thin layer of high clouds covered the sky this evening, the odd star and constellation peeking through from time to time. The full moon was particualrly beautiful surrouned by a huge halo. We waited for the northern lights for a little over 2 hours but unfortunately we were unsuccessful. We instead enjoyed the landscape, the start and the bioluminescent krill that flashed green in the disturbed water and the company of each other. Complimentary tickets were given and hopefully northern lights will treat to a show next time.
