Sightings: When we sailed out the sky was clear and soon we could see a very faint band of northern lights above us. Thick clouds came quickly to cover the whole sky and it started to rain down on us. When the clouds disappeared we could see the northern lights much stronger. The lights were very beautiful over a big part of the sky. Once again thick clouds covered the sky and it started to rain but like earlier it didn’t take long for them to vanish and then we got so lucky to see the strong northern lights again.
