Report from Eldey: It was still not pitch black when we left the harbour, but after some sailing away from the city lights the dark night sky revealed thousands of stars which were visible thanks to the excellent meteorological conditions. We waited quite a long time and people were already getting impatient. But how it usually is with the aurora it makes a sudden and unexpected appearance. We had the joy of seeing two long arches of glowing white (green for the cameras) light accompanying us for the test of the ride on the northern sky.
