NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00
Report from Eldey: Well, today we have a predicted forecast of a kp 5 out of 9 which is actually really good for us and with a clear sky and a almost full moon we went on into the darkness to try to find the amazing lights from the north! After about 15 minutes of sailing our cameras started to show a dash of green coming from Esja and there they were, Northern Lights!!! At first they were shy, but as time elapsed, they started to show what they are really capable of. They were so bright we could see the boat becoming green and our eyes shining like emeralds! The aurora showed its full potential and we could even see the red from higher layers in the atmosphere! They even danced around the sky like the waves of the sea. For me, it was my best tour so far, I took many pictures so that I could share with my passengers so that they could show to their family and friends what Iceland has to offer. A truly wonderful night!!
