Report from Eldey: It was such a quiet night, without any wind on our faces so we headed out into the darkness in search of the auroras. The sky looked cloudy but with enough gaps to try to see them lights. We could some stars so the clouds were thin enough for us to see beyond them. Unfortunately no activity was seen in the sky and we got back to the harbour without any green pictures. Complementary tickets were offered to our passengers for another shot at seeing the northern lights in the Icelandic sky.
