NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00

Report from Eldey: This evening was a rollercoaster! There were gaps predicted in the sky, however when we sailed out we were met with rain which is not ideal. Nontheless we sailed out with high hopes and shortly after the rain stopped and some stars appeared through the gaps. This is a very good sign, as it means the clouds are thin enough to see through. However the sky changed again and thick fog came through. While we were waiting for the Aurora, we were watching the gorgeous city lights and then spotted a humpback whale!! This was quite the surprise as its tricky to spot them at night! It came up a few times and really made for an interesting evening. As we didn't have much success seeing the Northern Lights we handed out complimentary tickets, so that everyone can come back again for free.
