Report from Eldey: There were some clouds in the air, but we sailed out to try to find northern lights through gaps that revealed parts of the sky. When we sailed away from the city to escape the lights, we sailed closer to another light: the imagine peace tower. We enjoyed this blue beam of light, but we hoped to see the green lights of the aurora. Unfortunately, the clouds did not clear up enough to show the northern lights tonight. Since we want everyone to have the chance to experience the wonder of the aurora, we gave all our passengers a complimentary ticket to come on a less cloudy night.
