NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00

Report from Eldey: Tonight we were expecting a Kp of 2, which many times is already more than enough to see the lights in Reykjavík. So we sailed out in the direction of Esjan but sadly with us came a lot of rain. Rain isn't ideal for trying to find Northern Lights. This was not part of the forecast so we stayed hopeful and patient. The rain stopped after a little bit, however the thick clouds remained. In the end they stayed with us for the whole tour, and in the end we even got a little hail! Iceland's weather is always unpredictable and in the end we weren't lucky enough to see the Aurora Borealis. We stopped at the Imagine Peace Tower and let that light up the sky for a bit and then handed out complimentary tickets. This way everyone can have another chance of coming back and seeing the lights.
