Report from Eldey: We were highly optimistic this evening after two days of cancellations due to the weather. We were expecting aurora activity of 2/9, S 4 m/s and 3°C and a full moon. There was only partial low cloud coverage forecasted for the area but during the tour there was a lot more cloud cover than expected. We occasionally got to see a few star constellations like Ursa Major but once again the clouds rolled in again. It did this throughout the tour with clearings here and there but unfortunately there was no northern lights activity. We had a lovely calm evening with no rain or wind. The full moon casted a glow over the ocean and the imagine peace tower was also beautiful to see. We offered our passengers complimentary tickets to try their luck again sometime in the near future. Shame about the northern lights but a beautiful evening nonetheless.
