Report from Eldey: We had a beautiful night. We met each other on the boat, people from all over the world. We met to look for the northern lights. The night was cold, the wind was blowing, the aurora forecast was 2/9. The sky was quite clear at first but it became cloudy quickly. A typical Icelandic winter night. Full of hope, we sailed into the bay, we ran away from the city lights, but we returned with nothing. Of course, the night was beautiful, we listened music and we drank punch and wine. However, it was missing aurora, so we gave passengers complimentary tickets. We can find the northern lights another time and of course listen music and drink wine together again on board.
