Report from Eldey: We set sail this evening under a thick layer of clouds but with a kp index predicted to be a 3. The thick clouds were not predicted, so we still sailed out and hoped that they would move. There was some activity as we always check during the tour but sadly the clouds stayed too thick to see through. In an attempt to coax out the northern lights our first officer read us a poem by Einar Benediktsson called Northern lights (I have added it below). We stayed for as long as we could but sadly the poem´s magic did not work tonight. For that reason we gave everyone complimentary tickets so that they could come again another night for free.
