Report from Eldey: Tonight´s tour was a testimony to the phrase "patience will be rewarded" as our tour ended with a very unexpected turn of events. We sailed out with calm waves, a gentle wind and almost clear skies. We sailed the around the bay enjoying the moonlit, snowy mountains but the northern lights did not seem to appear. Eventually, the end of our tour got near and we had to head back into port. It seemed we had to end our trip without a sighting of the elusive northern lights tonight and so we started to hand out complimentary tickets. But then, right as we were entering the harbour we had to stop the boat because lo and behold, faint lights started to appear in the sky! we quickly turned around and for a good 20 minutes, we got to see the northern lights shine in the sky, constantly getting brighter and then fading again. This sure was a tour to remember!
