Report from Eldey: super flat seas and dark night without moon nor clouds for us, which gave the best stargazing and northern lights-gazing conditions. Right at the beginning of the tour the northern lights showed up above the town of Akranes, but they were quite faint and the ribbon faded away very quickly. After that only a haze remained visible, so we observed the starts and talked about the constellations of Orion, Cassiopeia, Perseus, and others. Since the show of lights was very limited, we decided to offer complimentary tickets for the passengers to join us another day.
