Report from Eldey: The forecast did not look very good this evening but even though the chances seem slim, we always try. The clouds were more dense than we expected, the night started with rain, but throughout the night the rain subsided and even the clouds parted to give way to areas of sky with stars. It took a long time to wait for the northern lights tonight, but our patience was rewarded with soft green lights in between a gap in the clouds that could be seen with our cameras and phones. As we thought we could offer a better experience we offered a complementary ticket so that our guests can join us once again in the next 2 years.
