NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00
Report from Elding: During the day, the lights were forecasted to have a Kp index of 1, but when we started the tour, the activity turned into a 3! Now, we just needed to be patient for the clouds to move away. We started seeing gaps in the sky, we kept our eyes sharp for any green to show up! Unfortunately, after 2 hour of looking into gaps of nothingness, we gave out complimentary tickets to our dear and patient passengers, for them to try again on another Icelandic night.

Few natural phenomena are as mesmerising as the aurora borealis. These shifting curtains of colour sweep across the polar skies, painting them in hues of green, pink, and violet. While their appearance may seem unpredictable, scientists have developed ways to understand when and where they might occur and by studying the activity levels, we can estimate the likelihood of seeing them.
