Report from Elding: We set off this evening excited due to the high activity forecast. It was forecasted to be a 5 meaning we expected to have very bright auroras. Once we got out there was quite a lot of cloud. But after an hour or so of waiting we started to get some very big gaps so we could see Ursa Major, Mars and Jupiter. Unfortunately no auroras shone through the gaps so we gave out complimentary tickets so everyone can come back again to hopefully see some lights!
