Report from Eldey: After a wonderful day out on on the cold sea, we ventured out at night to find some northern lights. It was forecast to be a clear night with a kp index of 2, this is a fairly low forecast however we went out yesterday on a 1 and had an amazing display! Shortly after we left the harbour we already saw an arch above Esja which brightened and faded during the night. At about the halfway point another arch formed above the first one, this one was much brighter and even danced a bit! When time was up we headed back. Once in the harbour, the lights got stronger again so we stopped a few minutes before finishing the tour.
