NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE I 22:00
Report from Eldey: we sailed out with partially cloudy skies, a strong northern wind and adventurously wavy seas. The sun was still setting so we patiently waited for the last light to fade, enjoying the breathtaking landscape. Eventually it went dark, and after quite the wait we could see the northern lights appear ever so slightly. Surprisingly, they appear blue today, coming and going very rapidly over and over again, showing well in pictures, but barely visible to the naked eye. While it was quite interesting to see the northern lights behave this way, their very faint brightness made us decide to hand out complimentary tickets to all our passengers. This way they can come back and enjoy the northern lights nice and bright.
