Report from Eldey: As we left berth we started to take pictures of the sky to pick up some light from the middle of the clouds that were above Reykajvík. The kp level of 2 was a good omen for tonight but we needed the clouds to clear out. According to the forecast, they would eventually, so we hoped for the best and crossed our fingers. Unfortunately, it never came to be, as the clouds never disappeared. It left us a bit disappointed with the Icelandic forecast station, but we offered complimentary tickets to our dear passengers to try again on another night.
