Report from Eldey and Hafsula: This evening we sailed out on two boats with high hopes! The kp index was at a 5 and we could see stars as we sailed out - a promising start. Using the camera we could see a green hue towards mount Esja, but sadly not enough to see with the naked eye. We waited with patience and it grew slighty stronger, there was a brief moment where we could see it move however then it vanished. We hoped it would come back as there was still a fair bit of time but sadly the clouds were too thick and did not let the light shine through. In the end we decided to give out complimntary tickets, so that everyone can have another chance of coming again.
