NORTHERN LIGHT DIARY 22:00
Report from Eldey: Today the forecast predicted a solar activity of 6 out of 9 and, but some cloudy skies. We then sailed out hopeful we would see something, most particularly in case the clouds would happen to clear up and let us see some gaps in them. We sailed around Videy, noticed that the Imagine Peace Tower, homenagem to John Lennon, was lighten up, but unfortunately still no green lights in sight. After some time we could notice just a faint green through camera pictures, showing us that the northern lights where there but not visible on the naked eye. We kept on looking this direction, but unfortunately the activity never picked up. We decided to offer our passengers some complimentary tickets in the hope they will be able to come back and observe these magical lights.
