Report from Eldey: This evening we sailed out under a super clear and starry sky. There was a bit of chop and wind, but nothing to deter us from our quest for northern lights. We sailed and hid behind some islands to hide from the lights of Reykjavik. After over an hour there was a very faint light to be seen above Esja. It started very faint, barely visible by eye but then grew and grew into a stronger arch. Then, it grew even brighter and we could even see red on the cameras! It was definitely worth the wait, we stayed out as long as we could but eventually headed back to harbour.
