Report from Elding: With a forecasted 4 out of 9 on the KP scale, our hopes were very high for a night of light show. The sky was cloudy at the beginning of the tour, so we decided to pass by the shoreline of the city so we could see the lights from there! Harpa was showing the peace sign and Hallgrímskirkja was showing the pink October colours very strongly! We pass by the Imagine Peace Tower to admire its beam of light and how far it could go up, which was not much, as the clouds didn't allow it. We went around Videy and as we turned to the north, a big gap showed us 3 stars and a very weak green light from the aurora borealis, but that only lasted 2 minutes, and we could only see it through the screen of our phones and cameras. So we went back to the harbour, giving out complimentary tickets on the way there.
