Report from Eldey: It was a beautiful night full of stars. The Big Dipper, Cassiopea, Orion's belt, Jupiter and Saturn were all visible. The northern lights were present from the beginning of the tour until the end, oscillating between very diffused and clearly visible, from a foggy and light cloud around the mountains to a green arch coming from behind Esja. We waited a bit late to make sure the were not coming back stronger but they stayed quite shy for the rest of the night and got back after a very pleasant night.
