Report from Eldey: This evening we sailed out with high hopes again. It was predicted to be a kp index of 2, which is ´low´ however we have had amazing nights with a two. The skies were clear and full of stars as we sailed out. Even when we left the harbour there was a faint arch on our left. It faded and brightened throughout the night, but stayed more on the faint side for most of the tour. During our way back we stopped to the imagine peace tower hoping that the lights would finally appear. Behind Esja an arch of green light started to get brighter and brighter crossing the sky. Our patience was finally rewarded with some green and purple dancing northern lights. It was beautiful in that clear night to see the northern lights, the imagine peace tower, the stars and the planets in the sky. We went back to the harbour happy.
