NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 2100

Report from Eldey: As we set off the last few fireworks for this new years and Christmas period were being set off too. It was cool to see this as we got out to see. With the moon being so bright again it gave us a great view of the landscape which usually at this time of night is rare until we get close. Throughout the night the clouds cleared too. This gave us fantastic views of lots of the night sky including the big dipper/ ursa major, Orion's belt, Jupiter and Mars. Unfortunately, the moon being so bright potentially ruined our chances of seeing auroras. We did still have a great night out at sea getting to see Reykjavik and part of the Snæfellsnes peninsula. We then offered all passengers complimentary tickets to be able to come back and see northern lights in the future.
