Report from Eldey : Tonight, the air was crisp but not too cold as we sailed out in the bay, and the clouds progressively vanished to reveal a beautiful starry sky. The absence of wind made the experience of staring at the heavens and listening to the gentle flow of water around us even more agreeable. Our hopes were high as the aurora forecast indicated an increased probability for northern lights as the tour progressed. Unfortunately, no aurora in sight tonight, and we spent the whole tour looking at the stars with our passengers and telling our best northern lights stories. We then handed every passenger complimentary tickets so that they could come back and try another day for free.
