Report from Eldey: Tonight the tour started quite cloudy but the forecast predicted some gaps and almost clear sky later during the tour. The kp index was 2 between 1 and 9 which is already enough to see northern lights in Iceland. Indeed after some time of sailing the sky started to clear and some very briefs sightings of the northern lights were spotted but unfortunately only for a couple of seconds and only with the cameras. The camera lenses are able to catch the northern light colors better than our eyes so its easier to spot them taking photos with a good camera. The time was passing but the activity was increasing and after some waiting the lights started to appear more frequently and a bit more stronger. Eventually our time started was coming to the end and we had to start to return to the harbour still being able to see the lights from the back of the boat.
