NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00

Report from Eldey: The weather forecast predicted that there would be a clear sky at least for the first half of the tour so we hoped to find some auroras. We were indeed able to see parts of the sky and some stars, but as the night progressed it got more cloudy. On our northern lights apps we saw that there was probably activity above us, but they were masked by the clouds so unfortunately invisible to us. On our way towards Reykjavík, the sky started clearing up again and we could enjoy the stars and constellations. We hoped to see a green band, but the auroral activity had decreased by then. Disappointed to not have seen the northern ligths, we gave every passenger a complimentary ticket. We hope to see everyone on our cruise again, to create an equally fun atmosphere with ´whale punches´, nice music, new connections and fun conversations.
